Jaguar XJS V 12 1989 for sale. used to be owned by Chris Evans. Described by KWE in 2009 as the best example of an XJS they'd seen. Since then it has been owned by Chris Evans and then Vassos Alexander from the Radio 2 breakfast show. We bought it at auction in August 2013. Huge amount of service history up until 2009 including a full stainless exhaust but nothing in the four years after. We had a full service carried out in 2014 with new brake lines. fuel tank refurbished amongst other things but unfortunately this is undocumented due to illness of the mechanic. Serviced again this summer and steering column replaced (documented) and MOT runs out in September 2017. This car has caused us no issues in the three years. it ran beautifully from Bournemouth to Brussels and back last year and has been more than reliable for commuting when my Mondeo wasn't so reliable. The Jaguar mechanic who has looked after the car recently is happy to discuss the car with anyone who'd like to know more about it mechanically.
