1966 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA FASTBACK COUPE, SOLID CALIFORNIA CAR for sale

Here we have a really lovely 1966 'D' reg Plymouth Barracuda fastback coupe that I've recently imported from California.

Power is courtesy of a 273 cubic inch Super Commando V8 (around 4. 5 litre I think) with four barrel carb and auto transmission.

This car is in unbelievably stock original condition and drives almost like the day it was made. its whisper quiet. shifts up and down perfectly and the brakes pull up nice and straight.

I believe the mileage of 47. 00 to be genuine and the car certainly looks and drives as such.

This is a completely standard un-modified and un-restored car. it even still has the fender tag in place.

I believe it has had one respray in the distant past but still looks nice!

The paint is a little sun bleached and needs buffing.

Also I would re-chrome or replace the rear lights as the chrome on them is pitted and dull. also the o/s rear wheel arch trim is missing.

Take a close look at the pictures of the front bucket seats. they are original and with a light clean would look as good as new.

The back seat also looks as new and as though it has never had a backside perched upon it!

Even the tonneau cover behind the back seat is present - very rare!

From what I can make out. this was a second car for a while before being laid up for a few years. nbsp;although it was apparently put back into use last year and used regularly up until March this year when I bought it.

All duties are paid. I have a V5 in my name. and the car is MOT'd. taxed and ready to use 'as is'

I have replaced a couple of tyres. so the car has excellent tyres all round including the spare.

I have also replaced the wiper blades. washer pipes. brake lines. flasher unit. various bulbs etc etc.

This really is a very straight and solid car. A well respected member of the Mopar Muscle Association has seen the car a says it is a very good example and well worth taking to the next level.

It has also been suggested that this car would make an excellent 'Richard Petty' replica - just a thought!

The currently resides in my workshop so its out of the rain but I could do with the space. hence the reason for the sale.

Payment will be preferably by bank transfer to my company account and a full invoice will be issued.

Delivery is possible at reasonable extra cost. subject of course to full prior payment.
