1947 MG TC For Sale for sale
Current customer rating:
Lovely 1947 MG TC for sale.
Build date 29 October 1947 Chassis No: TC 3934 Engine No: XPAG 9367 (BMC replacement unit)
1250 cc
Red coachwork with tan leather interior and matching hood with tonneau cover. Chrome wire wheels with and good period tyres with very little wear. This car has been recently purchased and recommissioned by us after being laid up in dry storage since 2009. the previous owner had owned the car for 9 years and unfortunately in recent years has not been able to enjoy the car to its full potential and reluctantly felt it was time to sell. Remarkably with fresh fuel and a battery the car sprang to life. To recommission the car to MOT and good driving standard we have replaced the spark plugs. fuel pump. rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes. track rod end and service were all carried out. The car will come with 12 months MOT. I have driven the car and it drives. stops and handles. the engine is sweet and pulls smoothly. the gearbox changes well and does not jump out of any gears. The engine has been replaced in the 1960's with a BMC exchange unit this is not uncommon for a car of this age.
Significant history file to include many MOT certificates and receipts.
A good usable example. bring the golden age of motoring into your life with this pretty little car.
