Jaguar mk 2 1966 manual overdrive restored two years ago. complete new interior. bare metal respray not a £5000 respray but still very nice. new carpets. new roof lining. recovered leather seats. new door cards. restored wood trim. all new bright work. re-chromed bumpers. oor handles. overiders. oot plinth. indscreen chromes. re chromed by Castle Chromers who had all these parts on their stand at the international jaguar show at Stoneleigh park. and was in show chrome condition. All new bushes on the running gear with new front springs. new tyres 185 x 15 and tubes. the list just goes on. the engine gearbox and overdrive was all good running and worked all as it should so we never had that rebuilt. just a good service and the carbs cleaned. selling as spares or repair as there is no spare wheel and no tool kit the oil presure gauge and the amp meter gauge don't work now for some reason might be something silly don't have the time and lost interest. change of circumstances forces the sale of this stunning mk 2 jag. there wasn't any history with it when we brought it but all the numbers match. Winning bidder to pay £500 non refundable deposit. this is to deter day trippers hagglers and winning bidders who feel their winning bid puts them in a postion of having first refusal. sorry to be so blunt but genuine ebayers will understand the correct rules and ethics of ebay. this is an appricating classic and will need lots of love and attention as it is 48 years old and not a modern day car as some people think. thanks for looking.
