Built by Tim Ashton Motorsport (now BTR Preparations) with help from David Sutton engineers for Andy Elliott to complete in the
1990 Shell Oils British Rally Championship
It then went on to complete in events for the next 24 years including four RAC's rallies. BTRDA events and the Scottish National Championship.
The car is in period spec complete with its Cibe lamp pod and 15" ATS alloys
Restored in 2012 by a leading Classic Audi specialists
Full spec can be shown to genuine buyers. along with full and extensive history including photos. entry lists. rally programs. magzines. DVLA records all to confirm its great history
Fully road legal and ready to compete in MSA rallies or be a valuable addition to any collection
A new style MSA logbook (cat 1) was issued in 2012 and the seats + belts are all in date. The car has since only completed in one BTRDA event (The Woodpecker Rally) and a few demo events including Race Retro with the Rallying with Group B club. the car has been invited to the Rally Day this coming September
I found this car has a project. it has cost me a lot of money. time and worry to get it back on the road
