1987 Audi 4000 Quattro CS Sedan 4-Door 2.2L

1987 Audi 4000CS / Audi 90 Quattro (Black) with 166k miles. (30k miles on transplanted engine)

This car needs a new home. It has been a trusted daily driver for the past 7 years. It has been an awesome car and I'm very sad to part with it. but I just don't drive it enough and these cars have to be driven. This car has been meticulously maintained by me and my mechanic. I can show all service records. Upgrades include: euro headlights. transplanted NF motor (installed 2007). and aluminum panels. Recent work includes: new radiator (work just finished). alternator. fuel pump and both of the front axles. It was tuned up in March and has had regular oil changes. The body is straight as a pin. I am in possession of all service records.

One reason the car is listed for the amount is that this car chassis (4000) is commonly purchased in order to drop a 5000 engine into it and therefor make it super fast and overpowered with tons of torque. The reason you would do that with this particular car is that the frame and chassis is in very good shape for the year (not to mention 160k miles is relatively low for a 1987. not to mention the pain is original and 9/10). My mechanic suggested it would sell to "that" buyer anywhere from 5k to 6. 5k which is why I listed it for that amount. Needless to say I would like to collect as much as possible and feel this car is one of a kind. I hope you found this information useful.
