AC Ace

After long debates in the hall of meetings of the Board of Directors, the name of the AC ACE was restored, and in 1997 started the production of cars of this model. ACE was developed in 1991 by the International Automotive Design, experimental samples used the four-cylinder engine Cosworth with turbochargers, which after the beginning of production were replaced by a modified V-shaped six-cylinder engines Ford. The model did not go, sold a total of 48 cars before the speaker had been declared bankrupt. Later, the company acquired Pride Automotive Group and then was released modern ACE, more streamlined form. Housing made of aluminium and composite materials, the chassis is stainless steel, the result was a very strong car. The suspension consisted of double wishbones levers in the front and rear parts, on all wheels used 282 mm brake disks, set 436 mm wheel disks. Under the hood again was V-shaped eight-cylinder engine Mustang, as in the model AC Cobra, released in the 1960s Shelby, although this time were added sequential fuel injection and supercharger.
