AC Frua
AC Frua or AC 428 is a classic British car class GT constructed by the company AC Cars from 1965 to 1973. The machine has the body of the Italian, the British suspension, and American big block V8 engine. There were produced 81 car in total: 49 coupe (known as the Fastbacks), 29 cabriolets and 3 with the special body.
Frua constructed on the basis of AC Cobra 427 Mark III, chassis, it was elongated by 6 inches (150 mm). The chassis was built at the factory in England AC then sent to the body shop Frua in Italy, where he was fitted with bodywork, and then all together to move back to England, to install the engine and make the interior. The cost of the vehicles was high, and Frua bad were sold on the market because of the large number of competitors - similar cars, such as Iso Grifo, Iso Rivolta, Monteverdi and De Tomaso of the period.
