AC 3000ME
AC 3000ME - it's a sports car, completely designed and built in Britain, which was presented to the public in 1973 at the exhibition of the London Motor Show and offered for sale by AC Cars in the period from 1979 to 1984.
After the 71 cars was sold, the Director of the AC Cars Derek Hurlock decided to stop production, as his health deteriorated, and the company has struggled for survival in the period of recession. In 1984, the production was stopped in Thames Ditton. Right on the car and the mark of the AC has received the new company, registered as AC (Scotland) PLC under the management of David MacDonald, production has moved to a new factory in Hillington, Glasgow. Here another 30 cars were built, including the test car with the 2.5-liter V6 engine from Alfa Romeo.
