HISTORY Imported into the UK in 2019, our S10 Silvia is almost definitely the only one in the UK, and possibly Europe! So if you are looking for an S10, this is it! Our car has the 1.8 L18 in-line 4 cylinder engine with a 5-speed dog-leg gearbox - the car helpfully beeps at you when you select reverse which is in the traditional 1st gear position. In Japan these cars were sold exclusively at the 'Nissan Prince Store' and were rare in period - in fact we can only find one other for sale in the world today that is significantly more expensive than ours. This car has no Japanese history, the speedo is reading 75,900 miles but we cannot verify that. The car has recently undergone extensive body restoration and is freshly painted in dark metallic green. Its had a recent service and drives without issue. The Japanese version featured Nissan NAPS emission control technology at its introduction and this is still fitted to the car.SPECIFICATION Full pillar-less windows, period front Nissan fog-lights, dog-leg 5-speed gearbox, reverse indicator, 13 inch alloy wheels, period Clarion cassette player, dash integrated radio, period wing-mounted rear view mirrors, velour seats with integrated head-rests.CONDITION Lovely fresh paintwork that presents very well, our Silvia has two great things going for it - no rust, and all of the utterly impossible to source interior and exterior trim is present and in good condition, down to the delicate centre caps on the wheels. The interior is a nice place to be - the seat could do with being re-dyed and there is a cigarette burn in the drivers seat. Every dial on the dash works, including the four big red warning lights. The engine bay is completely original as is the boot area. Under the car has been under-sealed and there is no hidden rot that we can see. The wheels are in very good order but a simple refurb would make them perfect. The rear silencer has seen better days, so you would have to get a new one made and the tyre are fine but probably a little old. So this car is not showroom condition, but with some time and effort, and a little money, it could be made perfect.
