1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia for sale

1968 VW Karmann Ghia.  Restored in 2008 based on a near rust-free pan and chasis. both originial to the vehicle.  Less than 10k miles since restoration. Numbers matching engine and drive train have been thoroughly inspected/reviewed with limited attention required beyond maintenance items and new generator. carb. distributor. etc.  All bushings. brake systems. etc have similarly been fully replaced/serviced.  Runs. drives. stops just as it did 49 years ago in '68 (these were simplistic cars by modern standards).  All finishes/aesthetics true to VW with some liberties taken: color change from original. rear quarter reflectors removed. earlier style VW wheel covers. etc. Interior completely new in burgundy/ black/white.  Really great car!  More pics available on request.
