If you are looking at this advert then you will no doubt know about this car so I won't go into all the history / detail. I've owned this car since May 2014 and since then I've had quite a lot of restoration work done - too much to list. Took the car to Santapod on Sun Oct 2nd for the Japfest and use it quite often on my days off.  It is as they say "a reluctant sale" as I know I will not find another one but time has come to move onto a different project.
The car has been fully resprayed in it's original colour. New front windscreen fitted / rear screen removed and resealed. Wide wheel arches / window trims / door trims / sunroof all removed during the process. Manifold was leaking - removed. skimmed and new gaskets fitted on both sides. Limited Slip Differential was leaking - new seals fitted ( all three seals )New Battery / New Alternator / New Rear Brake Pads. Numerous parts sourced and replaced - wing mirror / passenger side window / black vent on rear wing / center console / stereo surround / cruise control switch. The only parts that are not original are the MR2 Mk1 Blue leather steering wheel which goes perfectly with the blue interior and also a quality Alpine Head Unit which includes USB connection. Wheels have been polished - front tyres have plenty of tread and rear tyres are new. Spare in boot with original alloy wheel + I have two additional brand new tyres. Everything works - Electric Sunroof / Electric Windows / Cruise Control / Driver's seat lumbar adjustment with buttons on the side of the seat. Air Conditioning does not work as it needs converting to the current gas that is used. Yellow fog lights at the front. Full Service has been carried out - Oil / Oil Filter / Air Filter / Spark Plugs. Car has been undersealed inside all four wheel arches and underneath. Full Stainless Steel exhaust that sounds perfect.
MOT until 20th Aug 2017Two advisories - Brake pipe slightly corroded / Drag link has slight play offside front wheel.
There is a small oil leak from the oil sump seal - not a major issue just have not got round to doing this yet. Sunroof leaks very slightly in heavy rain ( Car is always parked in the garage ). Drivers seat has slight wear which is to be expected.
Please remember. this is a 30 year old car - Engine / Gearbox is all good and the car drives perfectly.
