1972 (Manufactured April) VW T2 Bay Microbus. 1700 twin carb. Recently imported from California. re-commisioned and now UK registered with free historic tax to end of August 2013 and MOT to August 28th 2013 with no advisories. MOT preparation work included brake check and clean. some new brake flexis and ball joint/track rod end rubbers. new front indicator units and new UK spec headlights.
The bodyshell and structure is very good and sound condition. underneath appears all original with just one small weld repair to the nearside front behind the front panel. Paintwork is very smart. Most of the chrome is in nice condition. Interior needs work. Mechanically it runs and drives well. it has fresh oil and filter but no other engine servicing has been done. Speedo reads 09689. (presumed second time around adding 100. 00). Being sold as an ongoing project and is an excellent basis for a camper conversion without the common rust issues to sort. PLEASE NOTE THIS VAN IS NOW SOLD HOWEVER WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PREPARING A SIMILAR ONE. PLEASE CALL US IF INTERESTED.
