Still in it's factory paint this Corrado offers true time warp presentation in delightful Dragon Green metallic; a deep and lustful colour that accentuates the coupe's crisp. sharp lines. This example is the textbook definition of a cult car classic with only a handful of tiny highly professionally touched in chips to the front bonnet to report. This wonderful VR6 presents as well as the photographs suggest – a real collectors piece.

The hatch around the window. bottom of the doors and bumper covers front and rear display excellent fit and finish. free of any corrosion. whilst the underside is as clean as the top – one of the finest survivor examples and a fitting tribute to VW's patented effective body sealing and underbody protection.

INTERIOR
Open up the Drivers door and the cabin is focused in its simplicity with typical VW ergonomics – no frills. clean and easy to read. The seats are in terrific original condition with zero bolster wear and excellent integrity. Factory fit carpets display only the lightest of patina whilst plastics around the cabin show very little. if any. signs of use. The Karmann badging remains. proudly sat at the base of the gearbox surround.

As you'd expect from VW. the Corrado is practical. Its 60-40 split/folding “+2″ rear seats appear spacious enough to hold adults for short trips. whilst the low lift-over hatchback houses significant luggage space.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The sensational pocket-battleship V6 engine delivers almost 200bhp and with strong torque available throughout the rev range offers a broad and wholly engaging operating bracket. With recent plugs and a new fuel pump the narrow angle 6 cylinder is in excellent mechanical order and presents as a match for the most committed enthusiast.

The car performs without fault on test. tight. assured and full of character.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The diamond turned 5 spoke alloys present impeccably. free of milkiness or distortion. wrapped in Michelin Pilot rubber with at least 7mm all round.

Zimmerman brake discs to front represent the only deviation from standard. performance is strong with no adverse pitch or pull – arrow straight with typical Corrado modulation.

HISTORY FILE
One of the final Corrado's delivered on March 16th 1995 at Whites Haslemere. The car has a full VW dealer service history having made a total of 12 visits;
