Original British Columbia car driven to Nova Scotia in 1969. Even have a picture taken with the young man who drove it across the country. Purchased by current owner in the early 1980's. From 1988 to 1999 completed a complete nut and bolt restoration. all catalogued in pictures. Engine professionally rebuilt with upgrades for better performance. Professional body finish and interior rebuild. Winner in Concourse at VTR Portland Me in 1999 with 380/400 points. Points lost for non-original up grades. Nice driving highway car. Has been inspected for any mechanical problems as recently as July 3. 2015. All seals and fluids replaced 2015. The choke is stiff and it has been suggested that I may want to replace it with a finger-hold choke. Although there is very little road wear on the tires. they may need to be replaced due to age. Car currently has hardtop installed but the soft top and tonneau along with the side curtains are stored in protective bags in the trunk. The original transmission will go with the car when sold as well as the car cover. receipt and photo records. This is an eye-catching car which has been well maintained. My husband and I drove. unsupported. to British Car Days in Bronte Creek. Ontario. a distance of over 3500 km. to provide the centrepiece for the 50th Anniversary of the TR2. Although it was the first trip we had taken without other car club members. it was a wonderful. uneventful few days motoring down the secondary highways through Nova Scotia. New Brunswick. and Ontario and home via New England. My wish is that someone experience the exhilaration and memories that come with owning such a rare vehicle.  This is the last remaining of the five cars my husband restored. Last summer the 1964 TR4 Surrey Top was shipped to its new home in Oregon.
