VW beetle 1969 1500 German badged with a 1600 fully reconditioned engine

Drives well. Currently registered - but selling unregistered. as is – no RWC

Husband is a welder and was going to do the body repair but has since had an accident 2 years ago and is no longer able to complete the repairs – I am sad to see her go but the old girl need to go to a good home that can bring her back to her original glory.

Fully reconditioned engine – 1st cut. machined heads. tunnel bore case - First cut

Recon engine in Oct 2008 but has not done many K's (approx 12000 miles since rebuild) as this was my weekend car

Machined Cam. new cam followers / lifters . heads

New pin rods. pistons. barrels. rings. coil 12 volt. resized conrods

New clutch and cable. New shocks. New fuel lines. new speed cable

New fuel pump. fuel line. coil. condenser. piston and barrel. oil cooler. big end bearings. main bearings. clutch pressure plate. clutch plate.

New cal look rubber kit. rear window seal – never been fitted. good front replacement windscreen. current one has a stone chip

Mag wheels – though do need some touching up

New seats covers fitted on rear seat. new front seat covers never fitted still in box

Rain deflector (not fitted yet)

There is some rust coming into the body - see photos.

Pickup only - within 3 day of end of auction. can deliver within a 50km radius from Alexandra Hills at cost of fuel as the plates will not be going with it. Must call to arrange prior to purchasing.

Cash on pickup preferred - If you chose to use paypal. paypal fees will be added in addition to the final price.
