1949 Singer 9 Roadster for sale

A rather unusual 1949 Singer 9 4AF Roadster!  
Morris 1000 engine. gearbox. rear axle and brakes fitted by the previous mechanic owner in the 1970's.  I purchased it in 1976. so one (lady) owner for the past 38 years.  
The car was used as everyday transport for the first 10 years of my ownership touring throughout Europe as far as Rome with no problems whatsoever.  In 1986 it was garage stored for 9 years. then 'refreshed' by Minor Miracles. Norfolk. in 1995 who renewed brakes. master cylinder. clutch. fuel pump. kingpins. serviced the engine. fitted a new wiring loom and gave it a general 'once over'.   It was then lightly used for a few years and has been garage stored again since 2000 due to family commitments.  The tonneau is in almost new condition. but sadly the hood has seen better day but is available to use as a pattern.  Side screens included. but will need modifying to fit.  Being mostly Morris 1000 running gear. spares are readily available.
Old brown continuation log book available. starting in 1959. also the current blue Vehicle Registration Documment (V5).  Transferable original registration no. HRU 935
All in all. a very good sound car that will need some light recommissioning before taking to the roads again!

It was my dad that put the Morris minor engine etc in and the rear light fins quite surprised to see they survived. I would love to buy it again but totally broke as usual. Good luck. Julian
