Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1970 Classic Convertible

Karman Ghia Convertible 1970 - Desirable Year / Model It is one of the finest examples for sale in the UK currently. I imported this car from Florida although it has spent most of its life in Malibu California.   It has had all of the paperwork and necessary changes made for the UK/EU roads.   

It is a very nice. solid and unmolested example with only 91k miles. Beautiful colour combination.

It has just made a 4 hour round trip and I'm pleased to say there was no overheating. no vibrations. no weird noises. nothing but the pleasure of driving it @ 75MPH on the motorway cruising at its very best.

Lots of money has been invested resulting in a particularly fine vehicle of which I'm sure you won't be disappointed. It has had the engine rebuilt & new a soft top installed. Excellent and tight transmission. clutch. brakes. exhaust system. suspension. lights. indicators and tyres all in excellent working order. Just replaced; windscreen gasket. rubber seals. door seals. light gaskets. etc. Stay fast soft top & headliner in perfect condition.   Also included is a front Brassier and a Tonneau cover for the soft top.

I have had it thoroughly checked and had one small repair on the floor pan. It has new door cards. glove box and has been re-trimmed where needed.

It was serviced last week and has 6 months MOT.

This is a very nice example of a Ghia and would not require much investment to bring it up to concourse condition.

I have been driving it during the recent sunny weather and have had lots of admiring glances and have had some great comments.

In terms of investment it is clear that Classic Cars are out performing most other investments.
