The Chrysler New Yorker Salon was Chrysler's answer to the now separate brand. Imperial. It was as expensive as some Imperials!
This is a 4 door hardtop that is unusually well optioned and equipped. The options include 3/4 vinyl roof. Kelsey Hayes wire wheel covers. leather interior. power windows. power steering. power brakes. power door locks. cruise control Factory AC and all of the Chrysler luxury equipment. The push button automatic transmission performs beautifully. The prior owner enhanced the appearance and drivability with wire wheels and radial tires. This car has been treated to a full restoration - both cosmetically and mechanically. The fit & finish & paintwork is as you would expect it to be. The mechanical rebuild of the powertrain of this New Yorker gives it the feel of the "Banker's Hot Rod" in which Chrysler intended.
