The Audi 80 was produced from 1978 until 1986. The Sport model came along in 1983 and was marketed to take advantage of Audi ‘s success with competition models - the later B 2 models shared many components with the Coupe and Quattro.

This car is a very special Audi Sport in white. Between 2005 and 2008 this Audi was stripped to a bare shell and treated to a nut and bolt restoration – well over £10 k was spent and there are many upgrades including leather interior. Kenzo alloy wheels (very expensive) and Audi rally graphics (removable). The engine was rebuilt by Protec in Lancashire - fully rebored. balanced crank. ported. gas flowed head. 16 V pistons. re-cut valve seats and vernier pulley. It is also fitted with water/methanol injection to the cool the head when driven hard. There is a dyno report with the car showing 140 bhp at the engine.

In beautiful order with a detailed under bonnet and boot area this Sport is certainly one of the best ones left. unique and very quick! Comes with substantial history file of bills and specifications. Superb value!
