A superb usable example. This Elan +2 has been owned by myself since 1996 and has been driven in good weather conditions only. The car has been maintained regardless of cost and is mechanically very sound. Finished in blue with cream interior. the car is in generally good condition. and in excellent mechanical condition. and offered with lots of supporting paper work. current Mo T/tax and V 5 C registration document and includes the nice (surprisingly valuable) original 5 digit number plate.
Paint work is not perfect but very presentable with practically no crazing and would benefit from a good polish and maybe a new top coat in a few years time.
Lagoon blue with silver roof. the car has a Lotus Galvanized Chassis and TT style drive shafts specially made so the fail safe studs are retained in case anyone starts making good doughnuts again. The original drive shafts are included in the sale.
The car has the original 5 speed Lotus gearbox and Big valve engine both rebuilt to Lotus final revision standards about 10. 00 miles ago (increasing as I am using the car). The engine does have lead free valves etc fitted so you can use standard unleaded petrol.
The car is base near junction 4 on the M 40 in UK
