Austin Healey Frog Eye Sprite - 1958
The Heritage letter from the archive department states the year of manufacture as 1958 and being exported in the same year to South Africa in knock down form. This explains the extremely well preserved condition of this Austin Healey.
The previous owner rebuilt the engine and front suspension and renewed all the brake lines and brakes. I have now connected all the brake pipes up and bled the system. Today I have fitted a new exhaust and the car started first time. The vehicle also benefits from a new wiring loom.
This is a great Frog Eye that will need a new rear wheel cylinder. lights and instruments wiring up and new rear suspension bushes and Four new tyres. I have all the DVLA paperwork to register this vehicle. The bonnet. although very very good will need to be taken back to bare metal.
