A very rare Daimler straight eight engined limousine by Park Ward. This car underwent a major restoration to bring it to the standard we find it in today. Underneath it is as good as on top & has clearly had a lot of money spent on it.

The coachwork. identical to that you might find on a similar Rolls Royce is by Park Ward & takes the form of a 7 seat "D" back limousine with internal division. The exterior is finished in a fetching mint green over pea green & is excellent.

To the interior is correct new west of England cloth to the rear & stone coloured leather up front. Headlining & carpets have also been replaced. The highly figured walnut is all original & in fine shape.

Under the bonnet lurks a straight eight engine of some 3. 6 litres capacity. Very very smooth & powerful it starts readily & pulls strongly. The engine is mated to a four speed Pre Selector gear box that is a pleasure to use & makes for effortless changes. The desired gear is selected ahead of time on the column mounted lever & only engages once one dips the clutch & lets it back up again.

All in all a rare & unusual car that makes a great alternative to a Rolls Royce.
