For those that are watching. this car is being advertised locally as well. and will sell locally after this auction is complete. I will try to give you additional info that locals can see and have asked about the car.   I'm selling the car because I have other projects. and work. that are taking up my time.  As you can tell. this car has had a lot of quality parts and work put into it. Turns heads everywhere. As you know though. it is a 1968. which makes it 45 years old.  If you are watching this auction. and many of you are. then you know that a lot of time and money have been put into this classic.  There are a few flaws in the paint that can be resolved easily. one on the trunk. a few on the hood on the edge and around the air intake. and one on the right side rear quarter (pictured).  The steering still feels a touch on the classic side. which means that if you want it to drive and feel like a modern car. modern components are needed.  If you are like me. and many of you are. the classic "play" in the steering is appreciated. not frowned on.

I was planning on doing a few more things to the car such as replacing the aftermarket tach. back to the original dash. or replacing it with a clock.  The owner put a tach in. but it is not up to the standard of the rest of the car.  Also was planning on brightening the interior lights with better bulbs (originals are on the dim side). but they work fine.

The hood as you can tell has places for pins. which I have. but never got around to putting in.  The engine was dusty in the pics. but cleans up really nice.  Aftermarket valve covers have the cougar logo. as do the mats in the front. which match well with the headlight covers.

The car is in great shape and has been worked on professionally by mechanics with TONS of experience.  It has been kept in a climate controlled garage since I got it.  It is ready to have the final touches put on. then it will turn every head. including motor heads at shows. BTW. I live near one of the largest outdoor car rally's and show in the country.  This year there were only three cougars there (mine wasn't because the trans was being worked on). and this one would have blown them away even with the few flaws in the paint.

The few things that need to be done to the vehicle. I either have the parts. or they can be purchased online at relatively inexpensive prices compared to the engine. trans. suspension. etc. . that has already been done.

Remember. its a classic.  And with that. come classic issues. Having said that. for the price this car is going to sell for. its a great find and deal.

Please ask questions.  I will answer them truthfully.  I have nothing to hide and just want the new owner to appreciate the car and leave it better then they got it. like I did.

Thanks and good luck bidding.

P. S. The car will be up for sale locally. and will sell right after this auction is completed.

Shipping will be arranged by me at whatever cost you can find.  I will recommend shippers I have used before. but feel free to get who you want. and ship it in whatever manner you want.  I did open carrier. and it came dusty. but no big issues.  That will keep cost down as well.

Again. good luck with bidding.
