Classic Car Fusion is excited to offer a freshly completed 1967 GT 500 E Mustang Fastback. This is a stunning replica of the infamous Gone in 60 Seconds "Eleanor" originally designed by Chip Foose.

With over a year of labor in the build this is one of the finest recreations of Eleanor you will ever lay eyes on.

We started with a 67 S code fastback - a rust free. California car originally delivered with a 390 big block and still with her original California black licence plate.

She was then completely taken apart and stripped down to bare metal to ensure a perfect finished product.

The body was meticulously blocked and sanded while the show quality Du Pont Pepper Grey paint was applied in multiple stages with a healthy dose of clear.

Every gap lines up better than the factory ever could manage. and custom body work eliminates the gaps around the front grill and rear tail lights. Rounding out the custom body touches are a fabricated sheetmetal radiator top shroud. and a subtle flush mounted billet gas cap.

The new fiberglass body parts were massaged to fit seamlessly onto the car. there are no ripples. orange peel or flaws in the perfectly matching paint.

In addition. every jam. lid. and well has been meticulously refinished and painted as well. All new glass and trim was installed including the tricky vent window frames.

The interior has also been completely refinished using tasteful Shelby parts including Shelby Classic Instrument gauges. Shelby signature leather seats. a Shelby cobra wood grain steering wheel. and of course the signature "Go Baby Go" shift knob. The glove box has also been signed and documented by the late Carroll Shelby himself. A custom machined GT 500 shifter and pedals round off the theme. All the rest of the interior panels were refinished or replaced and the carpet and headliner are brand new as well.

Under the hood lives a healthy newly build 351 Windsor with a high performance cam. Shelby valve covers and air cleaner. all cooled by a custom Griffin aluminum radiator. The engine block has been tastefully painted Pepper Gray to match the exterior of the car while complemented by satin black engine bay and accents.

Getting the power to the wheels is a Tremec T 55 5-speed transmission and a 9" rear end.

Underneath. all of the control arms and bushings have been replaced. while the addition of sub frame connectors and sway bars strengthen up the chassis and noticeably improve handling. Helping her come to a quick stop if necessary are Wilwood 4 piston brakes at all four corners as well as a Wilwood master cylinder on the firewall. Wrapping the brakes are a set of quintessential 17 Inch American Racing Shelby wheels with knock offs.
