1940 Willys Sedan . 41 steel nose . Halibrands . Chevy 350 / turbo 350 . 2200 stall conv . Tubular mustang II front suspension . 2" drop spindles . 3/4" narrower . rack and pinion sterin . 10 bolt 7. 6" GM rear axle . 3:08 gears . stock rear springs w/ 3" lowering blocks . car sit perfect and doesn't rub or bump . white tuck n roll interior . front seats recline . front seat belts . I did it column . Speedway wire kit . VDO cockpit royal gauges . your basic fresh built street rod :)
I started with a real nice sedan body . the nose needed some patch work . the trunk lid currently is a glass piece . I have a perfect steel flatback trunk lid w/hinges and mounting metal plates that i picked up recently that goes with the car . Obviously ( I hope) there are all new brakes . fuel lines belts hoses etc etc etc . this is a built from new car with total safety in mind . Currently the car does not have a headliner in it but this hopefully will be done this week and the side glass on the car is original and that means a couple of cracks and delamination is present ( my glass guy is dragging his feet ) . the windshield and back glass along with the rubbers are new . The car is all steel with any rust repaired and is built to drive . The body work isn't to the point of finish paint . there are panels mostly the nose that need filling and blocking out to get them strait . The paint on the car now is a gold base coat flake that will blind you in the sun . no clear as of yet . I will shoot the car any color hot rod flatz you want for an additional $500 over the auction price but have not the time to work the body perfect for a shiny paint job .
The car runs and drives down the road very nicely . the motor and tranny were from a Nova Gasser a friend had . cam is not too lumpy but you know it is there and the tranny shifts hard if you get on it :) Most knowledgeable guys will be able to pick out all that is the car . if you want to Seriously talk to me shoot me a number and time to reach you .

I will run this ONE time . I don't have my buddies bid on my stuff and you won't see it re-listed time and time again with the bull crap story about the buyer backing out . Few things to mention guys have noticed in the pics .
the accell super coil is not on the car anymore . the black pro comp coil is
the tach and shift handle pictured are not on the car anymore . handle is the B&M alum handle /knob it came with and there is no tach used it until the speedo was calibrated
The car has 4 brand new Hankook tires with maybe 50 miles on them
I have driven the car for about a year
There are no mechanical issues . only bug is the typical turbo 350 that leaks a little fluid when parked awhile and yes i did the front seal twice the shift O ring twice and the pan gasket 3 times. is what it is :)
front disc brakes are the large 12" slotted / drilled rotors . not power and they don't need to be . master is under the floor .
high torque mini starter . starts on the hottest of days .
