1985 ASTON MARTIN V8 VOLANTE

--Mercedes Benz Midnight Blue with Tan leather interior piped Blue. Tan Wilton Wool carpets and Blue Mohair convertible top. 41. 00 miles. Automatic transmission.

This V8 Volante has enjoyed proper Aston ownership from new. Until recently. it has been housed in dry Southwestern climate. previously owned by Arizona and Texas residents. It’s most previous owner. an AMOC member purchased this V8 Volante in 2006 and has owned it until its recent purchase by Autosport Designs. Inc. Throughout recent years he has performed the following to bring this V8 Volante to its current cosmetic and mechanical condition.  

This V8 Volante has received a bare metal repaint. At this time. the body was converted to European specifications with the addition of stainless steel bumpers. Vantage type from air dam and the addition of below the bumper Cibie fog lamps. The convertble top was replaced and converted from original Everflex type to optional cloth type used on PoW specification V8 Volantes. The exhaust system has been uprated factory European stainless steel Vantage type. Upgraded to 16x8” wheels with Pirelli. The ignition system has been serviced with uprated MSD amplifier and ignition distributor. The waterpump has recently been replaced with a new. updated version supplied by Kevin Kay restorations. The suspension has received a handling package for a major improvement with regard to the Aston’s handling characteristics. The automatic transmission has received a service and the addition of a shift kit for smoother and quicker shifting. The steering wheel has been uprated to PoW specification Factory supplied Nardi wood type. The interior wood veneer has also been refinished throughout. The interior gauges have received uprated LED lighting. another wonderful improvement. Last. but not least a 7-speaker Kenwood satellite sound system with subwoofer. USB adaptor and dual trunk mounted amplifiers has been professionally installed.

Absolutely everything has been serviced properly. when and where needed at all times. It has only left its previous 7-year collector ownership to make room for a vintage Aston as its replacement.

It is complete with ownership history. books. tools and factory jack.
