This is a genuine 39. 00 mile car with 2 registered keepers from new probably brought in as a military personal import collected from the factory as this model of 300SE - one of the rarest of all the W108/109 variants - was no officially offered in the UK. Basically it has the injected 3 litre straight six as fitted to W111 coupe/cabriolet and earlier generation of 300SE/SEL rather than the 280SE 2. 8 engine in the short wheelbase non-air suspension body. It is in really excellent all round condition commensurate with its mileage with particularly good leather and wood. It drives beautifully and is quite powerful and easy to manoeuvre with great all-round vision.

There are probably three or four bubbles on the body which is original paint from what I can tell. All bumpers and bright work are very good. Head liner like new: still has radio blanking piece with '300SE' badge. Also all handbooks etc still in plastic wallet and a complete history file showing what has been spent on parts etc.

Injection pump rebuilt by Roger Edwards Motors (£1000 +)

New rear compensator spring

New fuel pump

New tie rods

New carpets

Rebuilt brake servo

New brake hoses

Brake calipers re built

Car will be sold with 12 months MOT and tax
