Hi. this is the sale of my 1974 vw camper. I have owned this van since 2007 which is when i imported it from Australia. Since buying it i had it resprayed in a proffesional car body shop and have fitted many new parts but i have lost enthusiasm for it so i am selling it with a view to needing finishing. It starts. runs and drives very well and has the 1800cc motor fitted. I had a brand new single carb conversion fitted to it and it starts on the key and runs very well. The interior is the main part that needs finishing. it has nothing fitted in the rear at the moment. It has a current MOT until may the 14th 2014 but needs registering on UK number plates. I have the customs paperwork etc. I have the rear bumper which will be supplied with the van. Being an Australian import it had very little rust when i bought it. it did have a few repairs done in the bodyshop before the re-spray. i have some photos taken at the time to show the work done. I have kept it dry stored for most of the time its been in the UK. Other bits that need doing are the accelerator pedal re-fitting and it could do with a better exhaust pipe. the one fitted is a bit noisy. If i get any spare time i will do odd bits to the van to improve it and i may apply for the UK registration. Please remember this is project that needs some finishing.
