Seller's notes: In good overall condition with a few scratches and slight rust patches on bodywork. The distributor bobweights are a bit noisy and the rocker cover gaskets leak a little oil. Otherwise it's very good, starts easily every time and has just passed it's MOT after a trip around Brittany.

1970. tax exempt Ford Transit camper van with pop-top roof. This van has been around France for 3 long holidays to Brittany. Normandy and the Loiure Valley with no problems. The interior has been retrimmed 2 years ago including new front seat covers. The curtains and cushions are the old originals as is the sink and cooker. It is very basically equipped but all is in good condition.
The engine is the V 4 petrol version and it has covered only 79. 00 miles. It starts from cold with no difficulties. It needs lead additive with unleaded fuel which works fine. The rocker cover gaskets weep a bit of oil. but this is usual for this engine. New gaskets are included with the sale. The clutch and gearbox both work fine. as do the brakes steering and suspension.
The bodywork is good with only a few signs of rust at seams. This has not been worked on as I prefer potential buyers to see the condition of the bodywork. The wheelarches . doorsteps and sills are all strong and solid. as is the floor. I have included 2 pictures of the underside to attempt to show that this too is very sound. This camper is in very good condition and needs a new owner who will keep it under cover and keep on top of regular maintenance jobs. The interior lights are modern additions and the headlights are halogens. Otherwise the van is original spec.
