The most iconic roadster to ever hit the streets is now easier to own than ever. With the original Shelby Cobra's worth nearly 7 figures. many companies offer full "kit car" applications to build your own. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is very proud to present this 1965 Ford Cobra.

This beauty is a kit produced by a company called Factory Five. They make different versions of the roadster to fit your everyday style and driving habits. Either order a base kit and add everything to a one you own. or purchase a full kit with all parts and components needed for assembly.

The paint is courtesy of PPG. Painted Ford Sonic Blue code 5960 and Ford DBC White code 3876 with clear coat. the car has a great finish.

Titled as a 1965 Ford Cobra the students at the Mesquite ISD vocational school built this car from the ground up. We have sold 2 of these cars for them.

Originally sold here last summer. we now have the car for sale agian. The current owner doesn't get time to drive it anymore. and it's too great a car to let it sit around.

The car comes complete with a 351 Windsor V 8 engine. producing enough power to liter the streets with tread marks. The ceramic coated headers as well as the iconic side exhaust really give sound that this car means business.

This car is truly a thrill to drive and to enjoy the freedom of the open road like nature intended. The blue exterior and white racing stripesare sure going to turn many heads from by standers. All of its power bolts up to a T 5 manual transmission. With only 889 miles clocked on the odometer. this car is still like new.

Once you step on the throttle and rocket ship forward. you will realize that this muscle car is worth every penny to help bring out the inner racing kid in all of us.

The interior does not go too far from the original look with low back buckets that wrap around you and hold you in place with the addition of racing seat belts.

The interior is nicely assembled with vinyl bucket seats and the addition of the driver's side roll bar. F eatures black vinyl throughout with a wood finished Factory Five steering wheel.

FFM electronic gauges add the feel of modern day luxuries when keeping an eye on all aspects of engine and transmission components.

The trunk is just as clean as the rest of the car. with plenty of space for those car show chairs or luggage for a short weekend get away.

Many of our photos were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Musem. located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas. Texas.

The suspension up front is an adjustable control arm with Koni shocks and adjustable coilovers. Out back is a 3- link deluxe suspension package with Koni shocks. coilover kit and rear lower control arms.

Since this car is very lightweight. it provides to optimum driving experience in the corners or the straight a ways.

The 351 ci Windsor is from a 1994 Ford and has been totally rebuilt.

Putting all that power to the ground is with the help of the 17-inch Vintage Halibrand Replica Wheels wrapped in a 275/40 R 17 rubber. Finally. disc brakes up front and drums out back are going to help bring this beast to a stop.

We have been totally impressed with the workmanship that Mesquite ISD puts into these Cobras.

There is an 8. 8 Traction LOK rear end with 3. 31 gears.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE DUE

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle leaves our dealership.

TAX. TITLE AND LICENSE

We are a licensed Texas dealership. It is required that we collect all tax. title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30. 00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of . 002276% and a small documentary fee of $75. 00 on ALL sales.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership. we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
