This is a real Hot Rod built in 1960 using a great car to start with. This car has a Chevrolet 283 engine mated to the 1939 Ford 3 speed transmission and a 1940 Ford banjo rear end. This Roadster has 40 ford juice brakes. early Mallory distributor. early AFB carburetor. 1949 Mercury speedometer. new chrome reverse wheels and new Fire Stone wide white wall tires. This roadster retains the yellow paint applied in 1963 and shows signs of the light green metallic paint from original build . This roadster is the real thing with lots of real parts from the day. such as chrome water pump. fan. pulleys. generator and real corvette air cleaner.
