Welcome to the auction for my lovely fulvia sport . Its a good example of this iconic little sports car . always drawing admiring glances wherever she goes . i'll be sad to see her go .

A Short history of the car : 2 previous owners . the 1 st till 2011 . Owned by me for 18 mths . Supplied new to its 1 st owner in weybridge surrey . Some original paperwork . correspondence . brochures etc . A respray in 1994 ( bodywork untouched since then ) . Recommisioned in 1999 after a period of inactivity ( bill for £1300 ) . Little use again over the next few years . The next owner then spent a small fortune on its second recommisioning . Bills for brake rebuild . cooling system . fuel system . welding to subframe . tyres . rustproofing etc.

About £5000 spent in total during 2011/12 .

In my ownership the car has had more use in 18 mths than the previous 30 yrs combined and has proven to be very reliable . The only expenditure being a broken speedo cable .

The good bits : low mileage 58 k

drives well

sounds brilliant

good all round condition

very expensive and tasteful perspex headlamp covers fitted

nobody has a clue what you're driving

no rust

not asking a fortune for it

best colour . lovely light silver .

With top examples being marketed at £15 k or more this is a good oportunity to buy a decent car at a sensible price

Not so good :

The paintwork has a few areas of microblistering ( top of drivers wing . part of bonnet ) you have to look hard ! but remember its

a 20 yr respray .

The bonnet scoop trim is missing . they come up on ebay from time to time . the last one made about £100

The interior needs general tidying . the headlining sags a bit . carpets a bit tired . a few nicks in the seats but very original .

The engine can be difficult to start from cold if not used for a few days ( A well known fulvia fault ) .

Care needs to be taken when changing up from 1 st to 2 nd when cold . But this is fine when the oil has warmed through .

To sum up . a really nice example to use and enjoy improving steadily as time and funds allow ( my original intentions ). however having to convert garage to granny flat have put paid to that .
