1966 Caddy Deville convertible.   This really is a great car. one of Cadillac's cleanest classic designs. in an understated elegant color.  92000 original miles. 429 V8. automatic. air. power seats. windows. radio antenna. It looks and runs fine.  We bought it in 1977 and used it as a daily driver for 10 years or so. It has always been parked inside. Lately. we have put less than 200 miles a year on it. Over the years. we have put in a new top. hydraulic pump. cylinders. and hoses for the top. upholstery. carpet. tires. paint. shocks. cruise control. Paint and interior look great. It does have a couple of tiny chips.   The important things work. but  AC and radio quit a few years ago. Needs trunk liner.  We are getting older and moving to a smaller place. The toys must go. We may be able to negotiate delivery. depending upon distance.   Text or call 319 2O9 O823.

NOTE: I listed the car 2/14/14. it sold. nbsp;and the buyer did not follow through.  He emailed several times saying the money was wired. as recently as 3/1/14. nbsp;but my bank has not received it as of Friday.   We contacted eBay and they said it was likely not a real bid.   They asked us to email them all our communications with the buyer. which we did.   They suggested we relist. so we are.

Following are the Q & A from the first go round.

Question & Answers Answered On Q:  i live in chicago how long will it take me to get there and buy it Feb-18-14 A:  We are in Burlington. Iowa. about 3. 5 to 4 hours from Chicago. depending on what part of town we are going to. We are 1 hour south of the Quad Cities. and 1/2 hour west of Galesburg. right on the Mississippi. Q:  where is the car located. Call me if it doesn't sell. I hate bidding on cars that I have never touched. seems crazy! Feb-17-14 A:  Hi. I have had several inquiries. which I will answer as best I can now. Sally and I bought this car in 1977 as a daily driver. We used it about 10 years. including road trips. It has been garaged ever since we owned it. The past 15 or 20 years we start it every month or two. Now we put about 200 miles or less on it annually. mostly in local car shows. cruise nights and parades. Over time. we have replaced the top. upholstery. carpet. paint. top hydraulics. tires. shocks. The radio and AC quit a while back. We had the AC worked on 15 or so years ago and it worked for a few years. Windows and top go up and down. It drives fine and I would be comfortable driving it any distance. It looks great. but as it has been driven. it has a couple of small chips in the paint. It never had any rust. The paint just looked a bit dull so we had it done maybe 25 years ago. original color. Under the hood looks normal. not all detailed out. It needs a trunk liner. We have the original. but it is not in good shape. The chrome is good. The frame and underside looks normal. no rusted out places. It is not a $35000 show car. but it does look and run great. We were offered around 12000 by a local collector car dealer. We are in Burlington. SE Iowa. so local to us is about a 200 mile radius. We just last week decided to sell it. so I put it on eBay and craigslist. I am asking 19k or best offer. I think around 16000 is what I could expect to get as a non dealer. If you have more questions. feel free to call me at 319-209-0823. Thanks. Ron
