This Austin Seven was a project to recreate a car similar to one of the factory GP cars from the 30s. but for road. as well as track. use. The craftsmanship to this point is exquisite & was done by ex-F1 personnel. I am selling for both health reasons & because I'm overloaded in projects. Whoever takes this on needs to be a fabricator/welder. or have access to someone (family member?) with those skills.
The core element in the sale is a rolling chassis. a freshly rebuilt & strengthened 750 cc. supercharged motor & a rebuilt gearbox & differential. The motor is angled in the chassis to allow the driveshaft to pass alongside the driver. The project needs the brakes. plumbing. radiator. bodywork. electrics. etc. done. As you can see from the photos. there is a huge cache of Austin Seven parts. a partial list being: wire wheels. blocks. cylinder heads. pistons. crank. carbs. brakes. differentials. shocks. radiators. suspension. hubs. gearboxes. starters. distributors. steering boxes. dashboards & even a spare chassis. Some parts need refurbishing. but are definitely good starting points. Please take your time & look at the photos in detail because the amount of spare parts is amazing. There's easily enough there to build a duplicate of the car as it presently stands. I would suggest selling off some pieces once you establish how you want to finish the car. The spare parts alone would cover the cost to finish the vehicle.
A $1500 deposit is required within 48 hours of listing close. The balance is due within 7 days of listing close in cash or cashier's check.
