Here for sale is a lovely 1920 s Citroen
Convertible Torpedo Tourer complete with flat cap and Gallic
shrug! It's a 1924 Model 5 CV Convertible.
two seater. with boat-back. folding roof. with boot and
spare
wheel. right hand drive. has electric and
hand starter with lights and charging system. original Citroen
4-cylinder side valve engine with
three speed gearbox and reverse. has it's original registration. in it's
original colour
yellow . an older
restoration. it was first registered
in the UK. The car has
lots of
information. bills. spares lists and
newspaper clippings
of this car in use.
The car is taxed until June.
It starts easily and is lovely to drive open-topped or covered
and has an
expression on it's face
that is oh so French!
I've owned it for a couple of years. driven it through the
Summer and Autumn. taken it to rallies. taken
friends out in it and now have decided to let it go
because. well. I'm really into motorbikes and spend
more of my leisure time on two wheels than four.
There is a small tear in the canvas roof that I have patched.
The front window is hinged and opens forward if required.
