Here you see "Henry" the Humber Twelve four door saloon manufactured in 1935. He is in good useable condition we travel approx. 1000 to 2000 miles a year depending on weather etc. When I bought the car one of the half shafts had been broken and the elderly owner did not have the enthusiasm to repair him. since then I stripped and rebuilt the rear axle. cleaned and painted the petrol tank. also the carb has been rebuilt as this was cracked and leaking!! a new stainless steel exhaust made and fitted. a full rewire and all electrics now working with the addition of flashing indicators (essential these days)along with a pair of matching rear lights. the fitted jacks have been overhauled as these were seized. four new tyres fitted (the spare is in fair condition) the windscreen has also had new glass fitted as original was going milky. all other glass ok. the interior has been refreshed with new carpet and the leather seats redressed. the door cards are good. all instruments work except the clock which I guess has been overwound. At some time in the past the car has had a spray job. the chrome is original and I find the overall condition very acceptable for its age but it is not in concours condition. never the less great fun!! I have a lot of original paper work with the car these include an original continuation log book a Rootes group heritage build certificate a sales brochure a service parts catalogue and the original drivers handbook. this is a great car for the enthusiastic owner. Our reason for selling is because we are moving house and will not have a garage where we are going! any viewing or questions welcome. many of the original tools are present a few small items still missing but I have been replacing these with period items as I find them at auto jumbles etc. The buyer will be responsible for collection. cash or bank counter transfer preferred at time of sale. any sale will be final and binding.
