Reluctant sale of my much loved mini as I am off to Australia travelling This is an August 1996 Mayfair 1275 cc with single point fuel injection engine (original number plate will be put back on the car) MOT 04/2014 but sold with new MOT currently on SORN as not used over winter months Mileage is 56 k and MOT certificate shows 37 k in 2005 so consider it to be genuine.

The car was stripped and rebuilt during 2010-11 by my dad who is a qualified mechanic and has his own Classic car garage (CSL Classics)The engine was dismantled and checked it had a cylinder head overhaul with new inlet & exhaust valves fitted. Also a new water pump. thermostat were fitted. along with a new battery. alternator. Distributor cap. spark plugs and leads were fitted to insure reliability plus new engine mountings and an ultimate engine steady was fitted when engine was refitted to the car. A new exhaust down pipe was fitted keeping the catalytic converter with a straight through pipe to a stainless steel DTM type twin outlet silencer The suspension has had Hi-Low adjusters fitted front and rear. the standard 6 x 12” wheels are fitted with 165 tyres The body shell was in good condition and had both outer sill panels replaced and a Heritage front panel fitted. wings doors are original. The car was professionally re-sprayed with vinyl checkers and bonnet stripes and black tinted rear windows.

The 4 spot lights are fitted onto stainless steel lamp brackets.

A carpeted boot liner kit has been fitted.

The dash board has a black leather look cover (a wood walnut dash is also available) It has a leather Cooper steering wheel and has grey seats there is a pair of Sparco rally seats and frame s that were in the car also The car has been in daily use since April 2012 and covered under 6 k miles. there is still plenty of scope for improving this car to make it our own. £4275 or realistic offers only.
