Manufactured as a sports car by the Bricklin Motor Company in St. John. New Brunswick. Canada from 1974 through 1976.
Only 2. 45 were built. Of this. an estimated 1120 remain. Fewer still that are roadworthy. This example is ready to be driven anywhere.
All 1974s were equipped with AMC 360 V8s; the '75 and '76 models have Ford 351 Windsor engines.
This example is a factory "Safety Red" car wearing its original acrylic body panels.
It's notable as being the only production vehicle to have powered gullwing doors.
The drivetrain is the same as found in a Mustang of the era. while the body is reminiscent of the Corvette.
They are rare cars. as the original MSRP of $9. 80 in 1975 was prohibitive to most buyers.
This particular car has only received a mild refreshing of all relevant parts since new and is 100% ready to be driven. The only noteworthy deviation from stock is the conversion from hydraulically-operated doors; a $1. 95. 00 kit. The tires are new and the vehicle itself has just over 62. 00 miles. This is an excellent vehicle for an investment as well as one to drive and enjoy. You're not likely to see another of these at a car show.
