1969 Series 2a Restomod

In 2005 this LR was restored and modified with a couple goals in mind:

#1 was to restore & keep the great classic looks the 2a has.

#2 was to install a more powerful & stouter drivetrain to fix the only downside to the 2a

             A professional shop installed new frame. freshly rebuilt chevy 350 engine & trans. HD NP205 transfer case. nbsp;heavier axles and new larger M/T wheels and tires as well as new paint and interior.

Over $15K was invested and it turned out very well.

It will cruise 70mph down the Hwy all day with power to spare.

I've drove it 1200mi CC with no issues.

The only thing that could use some tinkering with is the brakes. nbsp;disk in front drum in back. works good enough to drive if you don't tailgate people but i think the drums are sticking a bit in the back and there's not much brake in the front. i've tried bleeding them and it helped a bit but someone that knows brakes should take a look and maybe ajust something.  

The truck looks great but there are a couple small cosmetic blemishes i will show in the pictures. One is a couple quarter sized corrosion bubbles under the paint over the front drivers side tire and a couple other places that have some isolated tiny speckles of corrosion. They have been like that for the last couple years since i've owned it and they are not getting worse or spreading. hard to notice or show in pictures but i want to show/inform of every blemish. Also a small wrinkle in the rear quarter above the back passenger tire. another thing you wont notice from 10ft but i wanted to try to show it.

The truck does not have power steering. since the truck was modified the speedometer has been unhooked because it is way off on speed with the different running gear. the original Odomiter shows 28897 but that is not accurate. Does have heat but no AC. Has nearly new 33 10. 50 15 BF Goodwrench AT's on it. Clear KY title.
