If you are a fan of vintage Land Rovers. nbsp; do yourself a favor and take a good look at this one.    These old Rovers are known to rust.    The good news on ours is that it is a full aluminum body with galvanized frame.    We have included several undercarriage shots to show that this Rover is RUST FREE.   You may see some very minor surface rust. nbsp; but nothing structural at all.   Parts known to have rust problems. nbsp; such as the spring hangers have all been replaced.   All floorpans are as solid as they were when new.   Interior is mostly original and also in beautiful condition.   All gauges work properly. All mechanics have been checked and gone through as needed.   4-speed manual with overdrive. nbsp; 2 wheel and 4-wheel drive with locking free wheeling hubs. All glass in is great shape as is all chrome parts. The body was re-painted in the correct Pastel Green with Ivory just because the former owner thought the paint was getting a little dull.  Interior is in immaculate condition and looks like new. The 2. 25L inline 4-cylinder petrol engine runs great and the transmission shifts properly.

 

We know most of the history of this Rover.    Has been owned by a collector here in North Carolina since August. 2000 and we understand he moved here from Hawaii and owned it there for several years. Always garaged in heated and air conditioned building.

 

These Series IIA Land Rovers have been appreciating fairly rapidly over the last few years and all indications are that they will continue to do so.   Have a ton of fun and make a very wise investment at the same time with this vehicle.    We don't think you can find a better one anywhere for this price.
