This beautifully restored 1954 GMC 100 pick up has been built to not only look amazing but to also be an outstanding driver. The concept behind the build was to have an early model truck that has the comforts. performance. and reliability of todays vehicles. The project began with an excellent body being straight and solid which was removed from the frame where it could be prepped for paint. Since a smooth comfortable ride was on the menu the original frame and suspension had to go and was replaced with a fully rebuilt C 10 chassis. Now we have factory GM power steering. power disc brakes. and an excellent riding suspension. The engine of choice was a GM 350 TBI fuel injected V 8 backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear axle. The body of the truck is arrow straight all over and the silver paint looks great with an excellent shine. All chrome has been replaced with new along with all the glass and weatherstripping. The interior of the truck has been finished in a soft black leather with red stitching and also features air conditioning. tilt wheel. power windows. Lokar shifter. and all new gauges. The truck drives like a dream on the road. I have driven many of these trucks over the years and this one is by far one of the best handling trucks I have been in. This truck is turn key ready with everything in working order. just hop in and go.
