This is a great little bugeye sprite but I have three of them and have run out of room. This one is the most striking of the three I have. It has a 1098cc engine. The engine is serial number 10CC-DA-H 51634
I've had this car since 2008. A previous owner changed the car's bonnet to hinge the reverse way from stock. It makes it much easier to work on the car as you just pull a single pin out and disconnect a single wire harness connector and the whole bonnet comes off.
All the lights. heater and guages work. but the tach is little flacky. The guages are not correct for the car except the fuel guage. The tach and speedo are from a later model Sprite. The radiator was just rebuilt and new water pump. new starter cable. all the brake lights. rear sprite emblem. and turn signals are new. as is the rear view mirror. I had a new muffler installed a few months ago as well. The wipers don't work. I don't the arms on it because I don't drive it in the rain. The horn also does not work.
You can see in the pictures the car has the side curtains and soft top. The soft top does have a tear in the right rear. good enough if you get caught in the rain but I would get a new one if you think you will often see bad weather. The frame for the top looks in brand new condition.
