This 1969 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser is in factory specification condition. Stock as stock can be.

It has the correct equipment that you don't see very often in other FJ-40s. such as the red seat belts.

It's got the same 3. 8 liter inline-six engine it left the factory with in 1969.   Engine starts and runs excellent.

Engine is coupled with a 3-speed transmission on the steering column which shifts smoothly.    Three on the tree!

This Land Cruiser starts right up and idles nicely.   Accelerates through all 3 gears. solid clutch does not slip and *NO* grinding or popping out of gear.  

2 speed transfer case including the famous and fabled 4 Low gear

Manual locking front hubs.  

Pristine interior and dash.

RUST FREE- “Ambulance” Style Tail gate. correct for this model and original to this vehicle.  

We purchased this vehicle from a retired family acquaintance in Idaho. He purchased it from his boss that had owned it for 20+ years. I believe the original mileage to be 125. 00 +/-.  

We drove this car from Idaho to Northern California.   It was a trip of over 1200 miles and the old Cruiser performed flawlessly.

One important point is the paint.   The previous owner liked to do body and paint.   He repainted the car last year.   While it looks good in the pictures. I will say it is rather poor quality paint job.   It is fine for a daily driver and looks good.

However. if I were keeping the vehicle I would invest in a superior paint job.

These trucks are selling at auction for $30. 00-$50. 00. Fully restored models recently sold for north of $60. 00.
