FOR SALE is my good friend's Standard flying ten. manufactured in 1939.

The car was bought by him in 1986 for about £2. 00 in a rather sorry state.

After spending over 2 1/2 years restoring it. he realised that he may have paid too much.

The car has approx 63. 00 on the clock which is believed to be genuine. though the engine was replaced in the 1960's.

The car is in a good all around condition. it drives and runs well. there are a few bubbles around the boot lid and the sills which i have tried to show in the pictures. but since it is 25 years since it was restored it needs a bit of TLC. ny potential buyers are advised to view the car before buying.

The only know problem is a faulty fuel sender.

The car has been garaged for 28 years and only gets used in the summer to go to veteran and vintage shows.

It is tax and mot exempt.
