AMAZING 1961 VOLKSWAGEN DELUXE SPLIT SCREEN RED/BLACK

Good day. I AM RE-LISTING MY SPLITTY FOR THE 3RD TIME DUE TO TWO PREVIOUS TIME WASTERS - the last one (big7910) promised that he was going to pay/collect within a week and completely ignored all of my emails/calls/texts. Very frustrating. NB His NON PURCHASE is NOTHING to do with the vehicle - she is EXACTLY as advertised. Now onto the details.
You are looking at my beloved 'Bouxy' - named because of her number plate 460 uxy.  
I had her imported to the UK from Paraguay in 2007 and I have spent over £5K in those seven years to get her into her current position. But due to a house move (and needing the cash for the deposit on the new house) I am very reluctantly letting her go. That said. span > I NEED an agreement with whoever buys her to have the first refusal if they were ever to sell her again as I would want her back one day - after all. Splitties do become part of your family and of course reimburse any monies spent out to improve her.  
When Splitties come up for sale they generally come into three categories:a) really bad condition that need a lot of time - and especially money - spent on them around the 7-10K mark dependent if they actually run!!!b) those that have had some time/money spent on them and go for around 15-20K depending how much or c) immaculate which can go for anything form 30-100K.  
This one is really going to go fast as i'm pricing it to sell as I need the cash asap and if I had more time I would be spending a small amount to get the small jobs done on her and holding out for a price in the second category or a little more to take her to the third category. Therefore. I'm selling her just above the 'needs lots of work' category and well below those that have had a lot of time/money spent on them like mine. That means I'm not looking for people bidding that are not genuine or tyre kickers that are going to try to persuade me that she isn't worth what I'm asking - she's worth a lot more (especially for someone able to get the small amount of work done). but I'm 'happy' to let her go to a good home to someone that wants to spend the a bit of time and the small amount of money needed to improve her and make her even more beautiful.  
Some of the details that you will probably want to know:She is 12V and has recently (in 2012) had a reconditioned 1600cc engine fitted - this has only really done the 'running in' mileage on it of around 1000 miles. She is a great runner and used daily as I take the kids to school in her most days - which makes them the envy of their school friends (and very popular because of it too!!!) They will miss her more than anyone as she is one of the most beautiful Spitty's you will see. I think that is due to the deluxe trim that really sets her off. I also used to drive her the 100 mile round trip to work (Croydon) and back every day - that's love!!! 
She is SOLID - I had her rubber undersealed before she even hit the road in the UK and is one of the 'straightest' buses i've ever seen and fully rewired etc on arrival. new heat exchangers etc. I have receipts for all of the work under taken in the past seven years and can be seen upon request of a genuine buyer. Her floorpans etc are immaculate. I think the photos say it all and that's without being washed and hoovered!!! In the photos I have only got one seat fitted in the back currently - but I do have the matching one (that faces the other) in storage that will obviously be in the sale too. She has an MOT until May '14
Some of the small jobs required would be to replace the panel under the Barn Doors - this was due to her being exposed to the elements when I had the engine refitted in 2012 - I left her with the mechanic for 6 months over the winter and the rust started soon after (as per photos). I've had a quote for £300 to get this done. If you are worried about the two small scratches on the side panel and the bumper then I've also had a quote for £300 for those too. but you could do this cheaper yourself if you are a little handy in those areas. The Original VW Hub Caps were pinched last year and I haven't replaced them but you can easily pick these up on ebay for £50 or less if you prefer the 'finished' chrome look to go with the white wall tyres.  
As you know you can add/remove at will and make her a 'camper' rather than a 'bus' if you prefer - that's the beauty of making her your own. One things for sure you have a SOLID BASE to do what ever you want to do with her and turn heads even before she's finished.
