Rare unmolested VW T25 Aircooled Panel Van

Hello and welcome to my VW T25 Panel Van. As you can see from the pictures she's in very good condition. there's very slight surface rust in places but very solid and very tidy inside. The front seats are original and are spotless apart from a tear in the rear of the passenger seat.  
I am the third owner of this van. The first owner was apparently in an orchestral band and had carpeted the entire load space in order to transport his drums about! This explains why the inside looks so fresh and tidy. The story goes that he garaged the van when he no longer required it. The 2nd owner found the van and spent a lot of money on it getting it back up to the standard its in today. I've had the pleasure of owning her without spending a penny in maintenance. I did however replace the spark plugs (not a fun job) and the fuel filter.

I spent ages searching for this van and was very happy with my purchase. If you're looking for a T25. the chances are you've seen a few already and have noticed there are lots of old rust buckets around. This is not one of them. There are a couple of surface rust patches but that is all. The worst part is at the base of the sliding door. this isn't noticeable until you open the door and look down. The underside is unbelievably tidy. On crawling underneath and changing the fuel filter I was still surprised at how good it is - better than my camper and that's a 1987!
It sounds cliché but there is a genuine reason for sale. I bought this van out of want rather than need. Its still sat on a credit card and I simply don't have the money or space to keep her around. I already had a T25 camper. a Jeep Cherokee XJ and a BMW E39. The Jeep and BMW both need a fair bit of money spending on them and I really should keep my camper in my garage as that's by proper baby.
She has Wolfsburg mug flaps and index plates. a CB radio. tannoy (why not?) and very cool looking Wide Brute Remington tyres. If I'm honest they do add a little to road noise. I had bought a set of rims with the intention of putting some standard road tyres on for summer use - the current tyres added lots of grip when driving around in the snow last year. I didn't get the regular tyres in the end but still have the rims and could include them in the sale if required.
Yale locks were fitted on all doors by the first owner. Please don't be put off by this. They're proper vehicle locks and were installed properly. All the original keys exist. The door locks are all original so its one key for the lot including ignition.
So if you're looking for a straight T25 panel van this is definitely worth a look! She will come with 6 months tax and a new MOT.

if you're planning on cutting holes in her to make a camper van please don't tell me about it as these panel vans are rare as rocking horse poop and it breaks my heart that people keep doing that!
