Greetings!
What we have for sale tonight is a 1971 Lotus Europa with a clear title in hand.  This car lived its life in Northern California and was taken off of the road 13 years ago because of a left-rear wheel bearing issue.  That owner fixed it but decided he couldn't spend any more time on the car and parked it. then sold it to my father.
The transmission shifts through all of the gears. the clutch works fine. and the brakes work on all four corners.  The aluminum wheels are in excellent shape and there is plenty of tread left on the tires. but it would be wise to change the tires as they are quite old.
There is a crack in the windshield. and the air box is missing.  There is no battery.
We were going to partially restore the car and have some fun with it. so we pulled the spark plugs and put some Marvel's Mystery in each of the cylinders before we fire it up (as it has been sitting for 12 years or so). but the plans have changed. so on the block she goes.  The engine does not turn over with the starter.
There are two manuals that come with it; the Lotus Europa Workshop manual and the Dave Bean Engineering parts catalog. both are originals.
There is a Lotus key chain with three keys; ignition. door locks and the front and rear lids.
