This auction is for a 1937 Austin Seven Ruby Saloon (Mark 2)
Finished in two-tone burgundy and black. this is a very original example in sound condition. The motor was fully rebuilt approximately 15. 00 miles ago. needless to say it runs well but the timing gear is a little noisy. During the rebuild. the block was re-bored and the crank fitted with new main bearings and white metal big-end bearings. A set of new rear road springs were fitted at the same time.
On the inside. the leather interior trim is in very original unmolested condition with bags of character (See pics)
Unfortunately the cars previous elderly owner recently reversed her into his garage wall. denting the end of the nearside rear wing (See pic)
But this would be a simple repair and in my opinion has no great effect on the cars overall appearance.
The following has been replaced in the last three years - Battery. two tyres. radiator core. cutout box. exhaust tailpipe and silencer.
In summary. a presentable original example which runs well but would benefit from tidying in places.
