For sale my lovely 1964 Series 2a Land Rover. Reluctantly selling as having to down size my collection.
This was fully restored in 2010 Driving this car is a pleasure. she starts with no fuss with the original push button and drives as she should. with the noises associated with old Land Rovers. It is tax exempt and MOT till august . but can get 12 months on if required.
The large original steering wheel looks very retro as does the rest of the interior. with high back trackers seats. the original Smiths heater (working). cubby box and chequer plate flooring (see photos)
The exterior looks excellent and draws attention where ever you go. it is painted very nicely in Deep bronze green. with a new. sand coloured. Exmoor canvas. with new hood sticks and new roll bar. She has 5 cream wheels (see photo's) having done around 100 miles. halogen headlights. chequer plate on the front wings (see photos) a galvanized front bumper. Currently has Defender doors on. but I do have the original doors for it.
The engine bay is very clean and tidy and has a 2. 25. 4 cylinder. 5 bearing engine sat in her. that has done 28. 00 miles. It is fully LPG converted with a 200 litre in the back and runs on both gas and unleaded making her very cheap to run.
Everything about her is a joy and as the man who did the MOT said. she is an excellent example of her kind and a pleasure to inspect as the underneath is very clean and tidy with no rot or rust on the chassis or bulkhead.
